I count thousands in the GWS stands

I count 30 people in the nRL stands.

Even Lu people said the 10k crowd for the NRL was grossly over exaggerated.

Didn't only 12k turn out to see the dragons and eels last night? That 6k per Sydney NRL club!

From acorns grow oak trees, Parra. New stadium v a stadium more than a decade old. Brand new club v a stalwart of goodness knows how long.

I know which set of pics tells the bigger story. Where is the crowd in thugby heartland?

I was there (Bombers supporter), 11k seemed about right. Not sure how they'll draw against a team like Freo that don't travel interstate though. Would have been about 5-6k Bombers fans at least.

Nice stadium though, plenty of good standing room that bigger grounds like the MCG just don't have.

Not my club (either of them) so I couldn't give a fuck, my team, 7 wins in 40+ matches and still managed 28k for their last home match even thought they are dead set motherless last (again)

They only got 28,000 because they were playing Canterbury!

The giants got a crowd only just under the NRLs average crowd of this week, which included a number of SYD v SYD games!
