NRL ratings bonanza after midnight.
Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth
7:30pm Earth Flight
8:30pm CSI
9:30pm CSI: Miami
10:30pm CSI: NY
11:30pm The Footy Show NRL
1:00am Nine’s Thursday Night Football
In other news, earlier media reports that NRL would take precedence over Cricket on a clash on Friday March 2nd “live into all markets” were incorrect.
Cricket remains on Nine in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth followed by NRL at midnight.

Ahhhhh, balance to the force is maintained.
Apparantly Ch9 breach their contract terms for doing this. But it's amazing what lengths a network will go to in ensuring they protect their ratings. The NRL in AFL states is poison. After all who's interested in watching a sport when that market either hates their team or doesn't even have one!

I think that was always going to be the case. The NRL live option was only ever for New South Wales and Queensland.
I'll be watching GEM anyway. I prefer the cricket.

I thought the throwball fans were saying NRL would be shown in prime time this season in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seems they were wrong again as that is clearly not the case.
NRL = TV ratings poison

I wouldn't call beating the VFL ratings much to write home about, Dave.
Now if you beat the AFL ratings......
