Cricket is irrelevant, Dave! Who invented AFL is the question? Australians in Australia. What was one of the sources for the game's make up? The Aboriginal game of marngrook. You can't get any more Australian than that.

What I don't understand is why you are so against Australian Football ?
At worst you should be indifferent to the game but you go way past that.
You lambast the Australian game at every opportunity yet somehow youexpect Australians
to support Qld and NSW when they put on the green and gold.

I am a proud Australian
I have no affinty .. or affiliation with AR & indeed I find it quite silly & uninteresting
as do an awful lot of your countrymen

to then accuse us of being unpatriotic because of our feelings toward your game
is as ridiculous as it gets

try a new line for reasons as to why we should follow AR
