I predict Pay TV and FTA TV ratings for the AFL will increase with more live games on both platforms nationwide. I personally can't wait to get Foxtel installed. Friday night footy live on 7mate in NSW/ACT and QLD is going to be fantastic for those without Foxtel as well. Good times ahead.

another 5% in 2011

I'd attribute the 2011 drop to the unattractiveness of the comp itself ....uneven , uncompetitive with many many blow outs .. with a lot of games over by 1/4 time in a lot of instances

2012 will be worse
ratings for the AFL to continue falling making it 8 seasons ... in a row .. that they have

they may have their new deal locked in .... its just as well
hoodwinked twice now broadcasters have been by the AFL
a 3rd time ... ??

I'd say no .... the games up
& AFL rights to stagnate for the foreseeable future when this deal is done ...........
Then Beaussie wrote:
More BS. Seriously Raider, you just make things up as you go. No one's falling for it. The majority of what you post is utter BS.

In any case, we have another Australian sports record... $1.25 Billion tv/media deal banked. Good luck with your negotiations. haha
Then Raidedave:

so are you claiming AFL ratings haven't fallen ?

if you are ... I'm calling BS

which means you have to prove it .............

Dave's a fool. It's now up to him to prove that it has dropped by 30 percent, but he won't come in here! Beaussie doesn't have to prove a thing!

Edit - shouldn't one of these be number 7?

I'm afraid that's not true. Beaussie claimed the figures RD posted were wrong but he didn't ask for proof. Beaussie was then challenged. He therefore needs to show evidence his claim is right.

Well you can fix it. You can edit the OP. At least I think you can edit the title that way.

I told Beaussie he needed to come in here.

Claimant: Beaussie

Challenger: Raiderdave

Challenged: 2115 29/01/12
Considering the following statement by Raiderdave, I formally request that this BS file be closed asap.

In his own words, he does not participate in BS files and his original claim cannot be proven by himself because again, in his words, the claim is still to be finalised. How can I be challenged on something by Raiderdave when these factors are taken into account?

Close this thread please.

Yep, going to do just that NSWAFL.

the claim about NRL rating better then a lot of S15 in NZ is being finalised

If I close this file because Raiderdave refuses to play in here it would be unfair of any of us to challenge any of the regular BS statements he makes, which in reality are just easy points for AFL fans. If he refuses to come and show evidence it shouldn't be hard to prove the case for your claim surely.

Sheezus Beaussie, there's a clear pattern of you trying to get out of each and every claim. Let the process take its natural path. You agreed with the BS files so now you gotta live with em. Be patient and allow raider his 7 days

Raider has already made it clear he does not visit this part. That being the case, why not lock this one up early following a precedent already set with other BS files? That's all I'm pointing out.

look this is a tricky one. I'll give himthee full 7 days to feature in this thread, if not it will be undecided.

However you still need to prove your claim if you want a 'best and smartest' point because you were the claimant and your claim was challenged for proof. If he was the claimant, like in his failed bs file, then he would need to prove it. But he is the challenger so he can provide counter-evidence if he choses to participate but his lack of presence does not mean the bs file is over. It just means you can prove without opposition from him.
