A the momment TFC is engrossed in which is the bigger code in Australia and outside of Australia.
Recently we have seen some huge developments for AF overseas.
These developments have benefited the AFL with players following the AFL pathways
from the RSA, PNG and NZ. The AFL has also benefited from smaller developments with players
from Canada and the USA. The growth of the AFL product commands much needed export income to Australia.
AFL or AF games have often accompanied trade missions helping set up business overseas.
AF coupled with educational programs is being used increasingly as social improvement tool in Australia and overseas.
And generally the fact that AF is played in about 60 countries promotes Australia politically and socially.
The representitive competitions like the 49th Parallel Cup, The Euro Cup and the International Cup provide significant benefits to the host city.
Now wrt to rl, it's an English sport with the word "rugby" in it's title.
What good is it to go on about the RFL ?
What good is it to go on about the development of rl ?
Why are people claiming wins for the English game ?
Did Australia develop the RFL ?
Did the English develop rl ?
We may as list how good is the NFL or the GAA etc for all the good it does Australia.
If AF continues to grow and develop then there will be benefits. =D> =D> =D>
I don't see any real benefits in rl.

So are you suggesting that this UK rl participation is somehow a win for Australia ?
How does that benefit Australia ?
Did Australia somehow develop UK rl ?
Australians are spreading AF to about 60 countries.
(note a lot of clubs were started by non Australians)

its certainly a win for which sport is bigger OS
& yes ... it is a win for RL in Aust
why ?
when we expand our comp in 2015 ..... we will have a comp with 350 full time professionals in the UK to draw ready made talent from
so our comp's quality will not go down the toilet like the AFL's has when we go to 18 sides
18 strong .. even .. competitive sides
a win for Aust RL
we have an ESL in the UK as a result of the strength of the game there today & its 1/4 of a million players ... Aust NRL players going there to earn big bucks has also enhanced & strengthend the game in the UK too
so yep
a win for RL here ... & yes we have help develop the game in the UK
AR can spread to 120 countries .. it means next to zip.
it will be nothing but a park gigglefest .... for most of the rest of this century everywhere on this planet except Aust.

2 new teams ... to add to the 16 we have , none of these 16 impacted negatively with 2 new sides coming in but more people watching RL
including outside of our heartland in Perth ... & watching handy teams too strutt their stuff ( unlike the 2 new .. peanut encrusted turds in the AFL)
as a result of the strength of the ESL
K ...

Obviously rl types have thrown in the towel already.
Obviously rl is of no benefit to Australia in their eyes.
Never thought it'd be that easy.

19K to 16K

about 50% less ... then where they were this time in 2011

And how are you going to pay for their relocation? You lot don't take risks remember?
We have about that many players waiting right here in Australia! 18 clubs in SA and WA and strengthening competition in Tasmania and the NEAFL not to mention the state league in Victoria. Where's the local back up for the NRL in such numbers?

You couldn't polish a turd on your best day, Dave. This is wishful thinking by you because you don't want to know the truth about the sporting landscape of this country.

It's over 2 months til they play a game and they've already got 50% of last years members. They'll smash the titans again this year like last years killing lol
