Since we're in the region, I took a look at Oman.
I couldn't find anything for rl there.

Muscat Magpies
The Clann na hOman Gaelic Football Club entered a team in the Dubai 9s in 2007. From 2008 the Australian game began to grow in popularity and evolved into a new playing arm of the club - The Muscat Magpies. The Magpies won their first game of Aussie Rules on Omani soil in December 2007 defeating the Dubai Dingoes in the inagural O'Connor Cup. They went on to compete in the 2008 Dubai 9s winning a credible 3 games and reaching the Semi Finals. The Magpies continue to grow along with the number of Aussies arriving in Muscat, and played in the new AFL Middle East League in the 2008/9 season, reaching the grand final.
