Since when was cricket in competition with any of the football codes? Cricket has always been seen as Australian as anything else and to call it Imperial English is horse dung of the worst kind.

Easy answer.

Of all the calender years' cricket games involving Australia the Boxing day is preferred because it brings the best crowds, is played in the best facilities, with the best atmosphere, at the best time of year.

Of all the winter codes played inAustralia the AFL is the best because it brings the best crowds, played in the best facilities, with the best atmosphere, with the best and most entertaining sport. Add to all that It's Australias indigenous game!!!

Anything else I can help clear up? I'm here to serve!

Xman .. Cricket was invented by the English .. as was RL

if your problem is that RL was not invented by Australians ( mentioned ad nausim by singletball tossers )
then why do these same fumbleball ranters not have the same issue with Cricket ?

Well you're just as stupid for calling ARs a Victorian game. Haven't you visited any other Australian states other than NSW?
