someone give this pratt a lesson please

in typical ... look at me look at me AFL style
they have to artifically whip up interest in games outside of their heartland .. as there is pretty much none to start with

so they have started naming derby games
the QLD clash is called the ..... err .. I dunno , the pineapple in your pants cup or something ? :-k
something quite w@nky anyway

Ken Shadey wanted to have the Sydney one named too ...
so hes proposed

the Battle of the Bridges
the Harbour East ( Swans ) ... & Anzac West (GWS) ...........ah 8-[

Hello ... Karl
the Anzac Bridge is 5 minutes from George Street
its 10K's as the crow flys from Bondi Beach
its 20K's from your home ground ... & 6K's from the Swans
its 35K's from Blacktown

Ken ... seriously do you know anything about Sydney
anything at all ? :-k

Western Sydneysiders aren't stupid like the fans you are usually used to in Melbourne
I mean .... how embarrasing
the Anzac bridge ..... Westies .. its our Bridge  :-k #-o 8-[ ](*,)

put your cape on Kelvin .... & F off back in the spaceship you landed in , back to which ever alien planet you come from

Sheedy stokes Swans-Giants rivalry
Matt Windley

GREATER Western Sydney coach Kevin Sheedy says he wants to turn the rivalry between the Giants and Sydney Swans into the biggest in Australian sport.

Sheedy already has a name for clashes between the two clubs: The Battle of the Bridge. The Giants and Swans kick off next season with a stand-alone clash at ANZ Stadium on Saturday, March 24.

Sheedy said there was no reason why the rivalry between the teams could not develop into something greater than the likes of Collingwood and Carlton.

"It's the biggest city in Australia. The Swans have been up there for 30 years, they're established, we're the new boys on the block. What's wrong with it?

Sheedy pointed to two of Sydney's landmarks as inspiration for his idea.

"It must be named 'The Battle of the Bridge'. It's about east versus west. There's the Harbour Bridge, which takes in the north and the southeast of Sydney, whose people are mainly Swans fans, and then there's the Anzac Bridge out west.

"Having lived in Sydney for a couple of years now, it's about the people who have gone west, so that's obviously the Anzac Bridge, and the people who were in Sydney first, and that's the north and south-eastern suburbs."

Sheedy said the bridges should be emblazoned on the jumpers of each side for the games they played against each other.

"When you win a match you get a notch on that bridge, and if you lose you get nothing."

"Itmust be named the battle of the bridges...it's about the people who have gone west, so that's obviously the Anzac Bridge"

Shocking arrogance and ignorance displayed here. Much like the innuendo of our very own beaussie and his troop of one eyed AFL mongoloids. They dont just shame the AFL, they shame all the primates on this planet.

Dear oh dear oh my, I actually had some respect for sheedy and likened him to Leagues own Tommy Raudonikis. Not any more after such a call as this. The bloke seems completely clueless...

It suggests you are either:

a. dyslexic
b. a moron
c. can't understand simple english
d. all of the above

I'm voting d.

So the AFL supporting posters in here agree that Kevin Sheedy's battle of the bridges concept for a derby between west syd and syd is accurate and a good thing?

lol

you assume everyone must know who this guy is ... because you follow the most arrogant sport on the planet
& if you don't you must be stupid

sheldon Sandy could walk down Church street & if 1 in 100 people knew who he was I'd be surprised
but of course the 99 are all stupid aren't they ?

wouldn't have anything to do with the fact the 99 have no interest in the silly little victorian sport he is apparenty involved with
but thats the delusional conditions these sthn pelicans are brought up in
Flogballers are genuinely stunned when this reality hits them

& its f'ing hilarious to watch
