6 Month Search FAILS to Find a Sponsor for Raiders

Oh no, searching for a sponsor for 3 months and still no corporates are interested. No surprises I guess when you factor in the Canberra Raiders have the lowest profile of any club in the NRL and the current sponsor... the local pub wants to downgrade their sponsorship deal.
Canberra are also searching for a major sponsor.
The Raiders insist they will not undersell their naming rights, but that may change if they enter next season's round one match against Melbourne without a sponsor.
Canberra have the lowest profile of any club in the NRL. A lack of free-to-air matches in past seasons has also hindered their chances of securing a major sponsor.
Last year's major sponsor The Tradies Group has downgraded its commitment to the Raiders for next season.
Canberra officials started their search for a new major sponsor more than three months ago but have come up empty. The club's sponsorship deal would be worth about $700,000 a season.
The Raiders' hopes of finalising a sponsorship deal have also been affected by last season's poor on-field performances.

they've alwayd had a major sponsor ... I dunno what this looking for 3 years cr@p is but its typical beaussie BS
& its happened before ... 1996
they found a major sponsor a week into that seasons comp
they'll do the same again
no concerns here ....
