Melbourne - Sporting capital of Australia

Notice how all the big sporting events are in Melbourne? That is because we have the AFL Grand Final, Melbourne Cup, Grand Prix and the list is endless. Sydney cannot even compete with Melbourne or the AFL and all they come up with is the Mardi Gras and the very funny yet incredibly boring NRL. Viva el Melbourno! =D>

you forgot the International rules series , thats put Melbourne on the map hasn't it ......
