Does anyone else find it disturbing that the NRL is supported by the lower end of the class scale aka bogans of Australian society? How are we as a nation going to advance if these knuckle draggers continue to portray this country as a yobbo redneck colony?

Send em back to England with their foreign import that they call a game I say.

more like send it back to 2 small counties in the North of England. Most of the UK has never heard of the game of Rugby league and all their teams are going broke (kind of like here lol). I always find it funny when league pretends to be an international game.

This may change your opinion, as AFL is certainly not number one and I would read it as number 3 from the artical above

I would also like to add that PNG which has an estimated population in 2009 of 6.6 million people were it is said that sport is an important part of Papua New Guinean culture and rugby league is by far the most popular sport. This is sure to raise get an update from the two racist bubbleball boys Grim Liar and Princess Warrior, but thats the facts.

So that would be a big fat 0 for AFL and a guaranteed 1 for RL in PNG and another 1 for Australia as the number 1 winter sport.

Australian Football is No 1 in Australia whether you like it or not.

Your comment was that league is not number anywhere in the world. That is incorrect. AFL however is not number 1 in any country in the world, Australia included.

what these dunderhead singletball fans seem to not understand .. is when refering to " Australia " .. you must include all of it

when you do this
its quite obvious ... AFL is not the most popular sport in Australia .. because it is quite " unpopular " in at least half of it
thats a ZERO for AFL
RL on the other hand can quite rightly claim to be the most popular sport in PNG
thats a ONE for Rugby League

We are the number one sport in Australia (our game is much more popular than RL in non heartland areas) and Nauru. 2 countries vs your one.

RL is the numb one sport in the otther half ... the bigger half .. the important half
