NRL is Un-Australian

Post by AFL Warrior »

This game of rugby league is not Australian and is played by those who want to grovel to the Pacific nations.

As a result Aussie kids are walking aways from playing rugby. The game is a foreign import that has no place in Australian culture. At least AFL is an Australian game played by Australians for Australians.

Stand and be proud to be an Australian.

You must be ashamed to be an Australian you lovely person Raider? Would rather support a foreign code and allow non-Australian thugs to destroy our way of life. Shame on you you lovely person! What next? Greeting the boats as they arrive at Christmas Island?

I should add, the tv networks and major companies of this country and the world prefer the AFL too. One only needs to look at the massive broadcast and sponsorship deals the AFL negotiates to see that.

the TV networks are going to deliver feebleball & its fans the biggest reality check they've had in quite a while next year by delivering the NRL a massive TV deal all but in line with the AFL's .. finally putting the delusional idea that fumbleball is soooo far ahead of all other sports in Australia to bed once & for all

sponsors will see they are & have been backing the wrong horse & move their merchandise to the sport that is going to best serve their needs in the next 2 decades

AFL is in an awful mess ATM
a woeful comp
tanking
betting scandals
racism
falling crowds
falling TV ratings
new sides that are hopeless & sucking the life & war chest resources built on the back of the hard work the other 16 clubs have done over the last 20 years ... away

the AFL's arrogance & massive ego will in the end be its downfall
& I for one think the irony is heart warming .. just heart warming

Keep dreaming sunshine. You lot have been saying that for the last decade each and every time the AFL negotiated its broadcast rights and created another record broadcast deal in Australian sport. No one is listening to you lot anymore. Everyone knows what is the number one product on tv. You only need to look at the record tv deals for the AFL to see that.
