I don't mind Union to be honest. Much better game than Rugby League.

seriously who wants to watch games involving sides that couldn't beat local park sides

I could roll out a mob of 4th grade drunks from a local pub side & they'd beat this lot , yes lets all look forward to scores of 98-3 & 114-6

we can also look forward to
about 5 tries from the quarter final stage to the final in games between the better sides
& 247 penalty goals
so even games between the better sides will still be as boring as bat crap too

I won't be bothering with this sham of an event

It's a much bigger and relevant world event than your so called world cup where only Australia and New Zealand have a chance of actually being competitive.

The AFL Internatinal Cup grows bigger each year. We however don't need to go round telling anyone who will listen that we have an international game. We're more than content with being the number one sporting code in Australia whilst also enjoying the spectacle that is the Rugby World Cup.

yes the Poms have fallen off the pace a bit recently & France couldn't even qualify for this years four nations tournament in England Later this year with Wales getting in ahead of them

however we don't w@nk on about our world cup .. we know it has many shortcomings .... & at least we have one

the Rugby world cup is a sham in its present format because there aren't 20 countries of sufficient quality
in fact there'd be barely 10

& anyway
rugby played at the highest level by the best teams is still dross
it could seriously be prescribed as a cure for insomnia

The AFL international cup gets less recognition than the lawn bowls world cup.
Does'nt even get any media coverage it is so shit.
