I actually contacted AAMI stadium a few weeks back and they sent back an email to tell me they didn't have a SOO game scheduled at their stadium next year. Who knows they might.
Either way the bet I have with Beau still stands that the SOO will have a bigger crowd in Melbourne than the biggest A-League game. The loser to forfeit all tipping points in both AFL and NRL comps up till that SOO game.

You'd better fucking home the A-League Grand Final isn't played at Etihad, Sleeper!

You rang AAMI Stadium, Mr Mark? You are aware of course that venue is located in Adelaide, aren't you?

No I sent a email to AAMI Park stadium people. I am starting to wonder about you truthslayer. Your sounding very familiar.
I have searched the internet for anything to say where a Melbourne SOO would be played. No luck but what I have got is the AAMI PARK stadium people's email to say that they have nothing booked for SOO next year. AAMI Park would be the best venue for the RL fans but from what I can tell a venue has not been chosen (or at least announced) as yet.

I was merely pointing out a serious error in your information and what can result. AAMI Park and AAMI Stadium are two completely different venues in two completely different states as you obviously know. I was suggesting a little more prudence and nothing more than that.

Good, so it's finally been announced. Etihad Stadium on May 23 2012. Like I said Beau the bet still stands. Should be a sell out crowd.
Come in spinner.
You my friend have been a victim of your own misguided belief that the ARL would place a game of this stature in a stadium that would hold so few people
