Great Stadium
Great Juniors
Big Geographic location covered (as in G.C and Northern NSW)
Crowds are poor 11.5k because they Lose constantly
FIX On field form and make finals and everything else will gel together..
(Surely the NRL know this>>>>>>>>>
Great Stadium
The Stadium is a good and valid point, could be why the current rumours state an 8/4 split.
10 k ? Room thinking they are a lot like the suns. Lots of members who go each week but follow their main team. If the suns went those members would miss their footy but would still have their team to follow. Same with titans I expect.
Fred wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 12:35 pmYes, if both clubs start winning they will garner more support. How do each club and their controlling body assist with this. Will the nrl give concessions such as salary cap ? More money for off field? Pay “marketing” to high profile players to cover wages and avoid salary cap ? Will be interesting. Do the NRL seriously the administrative ability to implement such things ?
I can understand that with the titans in rl heartland but there are disadvantages to being an expansion team too so how do you balance things out given the extra disadvantage say a sun’s or gws have compared to clubs in afl heartland states. If a Perth team was set up I would hope there would be concessions as no one wants to see that fail.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:02 pmTo answer you Fred.
No The NRL will not give concessions or increase salary cap
or give them better resources / coaching staff.
In the NRL there is no handicaps for weaker teams...
just like any other sport in the world.. you survive or you die..
Who was the guy who said they would move if this attempt failed ?leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 5:02 pmWe are not moving’: Defiant Titans dismiss relocation rumours
Gold Coast executive chairman Dennis Watt has dismissed reports the club could move to Brisbane
or the benefit of Titans Members, fans and sponsors, here are the facts: We are the Gold Coast Titans, and that is how we will stay,” Watt said.
“The Gold Coast is our city, and we are here to stay to proudly represent our community.
“The Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region has a long and proud history with rugby league stretching back to the game’s roots in this country. We are custodians of the game in our region, and passionate supporters of rugby league and our community.
“We are not moving anywhere, nor are we changing our name or ownership.
“We are committed to the Gold Coast, as evidenced in our current negotiations for an early conversion of our five-year extension on our lease at Parkwood, and our development application for the Titans Community Club, which is currently before Council.
“We are regularly approached by good people who want to help the Titans reach their full and successful potential, and we appreciate their support of the club.
“But while we never stop listening to interesting proposals, and will always keep an open mind about possibilities to grow and strengthen the Titans, the possibility of restructuring, relocating and rebranding the club has not been contemplated.”
That’s like most of their fan base
