A 1/4 of NRL players consider a switch to AFL

Hmm, interesting. It seems players and fans alike are switching codes.
The NRL is quicly becoming the amatuer feeder league of the AFL. Our new Auskick recruits.
It's clear that increasing numbers of players don't want to play Rugby League anymore. Can you blame em when they play in front of an average of just 16,000 fans a week for much less than what one can earn in the massive truly Australian game of the AFL.

Mr Raider, it is perfectly feasible for an AFL club to offer an NRL player a million dollar contract. There is room in the AFL salary cap for such a deal. Players in the AFL are paid more than they are in the NRL because of the higher salary cap and they know it very well. Most would be waiting to see if the NRL do in fact raise the salary cap, although some just might be waiting to see what happens with Israel Folau.

a quarter of them ?.... 100 players
is that feasible is it
one or 2 more ...maybe before the AFL's own mid range earning players start to get jack of
" rookies " earning amongst the highest salaries in that game
& NRL players would not come across for any less .. the bar has been set
already
& in the next 5 years .. our best players .. the only ones the AFL would be interested in .. ie for profile .. will be on a million plus anyway from a 50% increase in the cap & relaxation of itellectual property rules in our game, thus closing the door on the experiment for good.

I have heard a fairly strong rumour that several AFL players were considering a code swich. But many of the rigors activities of male netball were considered unsuitable.

I have heard mongoeball commentators get excited when a total AFL sides tackle count gets to 30
they jizz their pants its apparently such a wonderful effort
Nathan Hindmarsh will make 30 tackles by himself for Parramatta .. before halftime tonight
