A 1/4 of NRL players consider a switch to AFL
You really don't know what part of the game tackles play, Mr Raider. Just this past weekend two players put on 14 tackles by themselves. The average number of tackles per player was 3. Multiply that by 21 and teams averaged 63 tackles a game this past weekend. Of course there are more tackles in the NRL, but that has always been the nature of the game. It's a core object. The core object in the AFL is the ball. However tackles are required to try to cause turnovers. So to insinuate that clubs would get excited over a tackle count at 30 is completely against the statistical facts.

That fat fuck Hindmarsh would be lucky to play 10 continuous minutes of Australian Football. Why do you think KHunt and Izzy have struggled so much with the transition to the AFL. Clearly, lazy, fat fuckers can make the top level in the NRL, in the AFL they struggle massively.Raiderdave wrote:Nathan Hindmarsh ... & about 30 other NRL players would hit that mark by themselves in the 10th minute

Oh Beau you can't be serious. If you make comments like that you are showing that you have no idea.
Hindmarsh might not outwardly appear to be the fittest player on the field but if you got one of your AFL players to try and do half the things that he and a lot of the other NRL players get though in the physically demanding game of RL they would be calling for the oxygen after 5 minutes.
K Hunt and Izzy have taken you AFL lot for a ride. Who wouldn't take the big bucks to play a lesser demanding game like AFL. They got the bucks and chances are they will probably go back and play in the NRL after their contracts have finished.

over 30m even Hindy would catch most of the stick insect lady boys who play boggerballBeaussie wrote:That fat **** Hindmarsh would be lucky to play 10 continuous minutes of Australian Football. even our forwards are very agile over this distance .. & mongoeballers whilst able to trot all day ... aren't any quicker on average over this distrance then our forwards.
& when mr Hindmarsh did catch said stick insect
he would snap the little feebleballer in half
end of story , game over...
Fuck off the both of you! Beaussie got it right! AFL players are much fitter than NRL players because they do a lot more fucking running! And Gary Ablett Senior would shatter Hindmarsh into a million fucking pieces! As would many others in the history of the great fucking game of Aussie Rules Football!!

they plod all day ... & yes ... an NRL player couldn't do that because they carry a lot more bulk
NRL players are bulit for power
they have the physiques of sprinters .. powerfully built to run fast over shorter distances .. & carry heavier frames to asborb multiple impacts
AFL players have the build of 800m runners .. longer leaner less mass
quite girly really
& you are a delusional fool ( & you are ) if you think Gary Ablett Snr would last 5 minutes with Mr Hindmarsh as that murderer of teenage girls would be put in a spinal ward apon them ever playing against each other ... where he belongs
I can not believe anyone would have the temerity to post this incredibly ill informed gibberish. Mr Mark I seriously doubt you truly comprehend what it takes to be an AFL footballer. I can assure you that the first people calling for the oxygen would be the NRL players playing AFL because of the constant pace of the game. NRL is start stop start stop and in a lot of cases the stop is quite lengthy. The only time an AFL player would stop is if he is on the bench.MarkZZZ wrote:Hindmarsh might not outwardly appear to be the fittest player on the field but if you got one of your AFL players to try and do half the things that he and a lot of the other NRL players get though in the physically demanding game of RL they would be calling for the oxygen after 5 minutes.

I very much doubt Hunt and Folau will reverse their decisions as they have shown no inclination to do so.

AFL interchange which is unlimited often reaches 100 + a gameTruthsayer wrote:I can not believe anyone would have the temerity to post this incredibly ill informed gibberish. the NRL is Limited to 10
those AFL players spend a LOT of time .. ah Stopped
I saw somewhere recently an AFL player kicked a goal in the 2nd minute of a game .. & was then interchanged
I mean WTF ?
NRL players often don't get interchanged at all & play the entire 80 mins
that would never happen in AFL
AFL players play more than 80 minutes. The game lasts for 120 minutes. The AFL is working to cut back the number of interchanges introducing the substitute this year and bringing the number of interchange players back to three. On the field there are many more stops for NRL players than there are for AFL. These are facts, Mr Raider. Please open your eyes and look.
