Nope, our quarters are shorter but breaks in between quarters are longer. Therefore the telecast is still longer than the NRLs
Wookie confirmed it was 25 mins shorter in the telecast.
which makes it 2hr 35mins. How long is the NRL telecast?
around 2 hours give or take.
that is when the final whistle is blown no post match coverage.

I seem to recall PTV is only a proportion of Australia's TV audience

NRL Fox League
Sea Eagles v Titans 141,000
Storm v Wests Tigers 246,000
Roosters v Sharks 203,00

Melbourne v Essendon 187,000
Richmond v Adelaide 184,000
Brisbane v Carlton 176,000

But, But, But .
av 197 v 183 and your games are shorter which Leeroy agrees helps your averages.
I seem to recall the matches in 9's tournament went for 20m and averaged 140k imagine if they'd gone for 15m
you need to argue with Leeroy

Yes, just like FTA roughly 50% of the weekly total.

9 SEVEN’S AFL: MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Seven Network 596,000 16,000 303,000 55,000 146,000 77,000

Good figures for the AFL in Brisbane given no QLD side was involved

as predicted - with a week to go in the NRL season, the AFL leads 75.7m to 66.8m - a gap of around 8.9m. one more round of the NRL (Rd ave 3.5m), plus finals where the AFL generally does a lot better across the series. Origin will need to be a belter to get NRL over

9's,All stars, WCC , Charity shield and a couple of other pre seasin games got about 5m. What did your preseason get Wookie?

pretty much looking at Origin would need to hit 3mill Average per game>>
mid season this would easily be done, post season i have doubts.

its amazing what you want to include these days
The only reason I ask is that at Rd 5 these numbers were being included.

and they'll be in the full season data when the finals are done. I havent had time to keep running summaries every week until things have settled down here at work.

Preseason for the NRL was about 5 million if you take every individual 15 minute 9s clash as a separate rating. Im in 2 minds about the Nines. 15 minute matches are the bare minimum for ratings and its not a remotely fair comparison by any stretch to have them 1 for 1, on an average match time it works out to about 892,000.

Nines matches go for 20m , 2 min shorter than AFLx matches that you have included in the past.
