Just a pool match, yet swans haven't touched this number in years.

Yet this was the Giants (a team you and many other leaguies says has very few fans) and they were getting thrashed pretty much the whole game too, yet... get this... they absolutely smashed the Wallabies who were playing in a Rugby World Cup match - when it comes to the tv audience numbers in Sydney.

Awaits the but, but, but. :(/

And there it is.

But,but, but, it’s a pool match for the Wallabies in the Rugby World Cup. #-o

This despite many, many posts from league flogs suggesting the Giants have no fans and Rugby Union is so much more popular than AFL in Sydney. Clutching at straws indeed.

Anglofl GF was unmitigated disaster with record low rating & Sydney team failing to generate interest in home city.

I see Ch.7 are laying staff off again. After black Saturday who could blame them!... the new head of programming needs to take care not to make the same mistakes. If he grants the AFL a 2 year extension, like there asking for, things could get very interesting.

You cant beat the advertising opportunities that present themselves in the AFL and the cricket :(/ :(/ :(/
