That goes a long way to explaining why the Sun's home game pulled a bigger crowd than all 4 NRL games.
Wow!!! Indeed.
That is easy to explain>> majority were Richmond supporters..

I have stated this before on here..

but where in the world does Away support out number home support at there home ground ..?
But many of those same Richmond supporters will be there this week following the suns.
ok will see the Crowd difference than>>

I thought you were championing cumulative ? Is it average now?
He does, though he is amazed by the figure of 4 games came very close to beating 9 games.

shows the power of FTA

Were the 4 nrl games shown in isolation? ... there are many machinations to take into account. But one thing that can’t be disputed is that when we have as close as possible the same situation... afl almost always out rated the nrl . Friday night, Thursday night, and the very clear one ... finals.
all 4 games were shown in Isolation>>

Yes but the AFL do not show 35% of there teams on Friday night.. Marquee slot
Have alot less Thursday night footy.
NRL have 2 games on Friday.

Finals AFL were clear winners, but final series especially Grand Finals can come down
to which teams are in the finals,

As I said ... so many variables ... lies, lies and damned statistics

But still it is clear that if an nrl game is up against and afk game afl game usually wins.

Or to put another way... once all the confounds are taken away ... afl is ususlyg the clear winner.

There are many like me that go to most games and support the suns but will barrack for their team. Of course there are still those who just go to that one game and of course those flying in .

Well ya see Freddy boy.......both the right and left side of my brain actually work!!!!! Meaning I can process multiple thought lines simultaneously. So yes..... both aggregate and average count.

The reason you fumblers hate aggregate is because RL always win. So I might do a Freddy and pick averages as the best indicator of popularity this year. The way Wookie is currently grabbing numbers from anywhere & everywhere RL is currently flogging the fumbling game in averages.

So yep.........this year I may very well go with averages. Or it may be aggregate. Or it may be both. Or if RL looks like copping a hiding in both I will just slink off and hide in the jungle until the heat dies down.

Ring a bell Freddy boyo!!!!!

I’ll let you in on a tip Terry. The brain actually can’t process multiple thought lines simultaneously. What we actually do is attention switch... so if you’re misses ever say something about multi tasking etc ... remind her of this. And when we switch attention .... we are blank for a few milliseconds. But anyway just a little tid bit lol. I didn’t read the test but will do now

& there is the difference between Rl & AFL fans .
Rain hail or shine ...a win or getting beat in whatever..RL fans are on here .
Can't say the same for the fumblers .
They have a track record of slinking off or in Beas case .posting & running when he is shown up as just another clueless fumblefan .

Friday Night NRL TV
Knights v Bulldogs
National: 737,000
Nine/GEM: 509,000 (5 City: 292,000 / Regional: 217,000)
Fox League : 228,000

Look at that regional figure, so close to that Metro..

(AFL numbers to come>> looks to be over 1 million)

Looking forward to seeing proof of this.

A good start.

Nope, it's just a strange and mostly irrelevant measurement to use regardless.

I'd be happy to take my hat off to the NRL on proving tv popularity through averages too.

Our Friday night game was the same time as yours , Our Saturday night game - same as yours , our Sunday afternoon game was also played the same as yours.

On Wednesday night, we got almost 3 million! Has your strictly club level competition ever done anything like that? Anything remotely similar????????????????

I care not how much you declare you care Freddy boyo. I hope you read that slowly!!!!

However when you and your fumbling mates desert the site when fumbling numbers crash it sorta tells a story. It kinda makes one think they'd hate to be in the trenches with you lot!!!!

But for now back to business: By the great Wookie the average fumble tv ratings this year are 374k per game. RL average is 522k. Yep........that's an almighty thrashing to the greatest game of all.

So I now hereby pronounce........averages are king!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fuss is ..fumblers just can't accept losing to RL .

So indoctrinated with the propaganda that when reality encroaches they can't accept it .
