This has been stated before last year.

But you cannot compare AFL AND NRL for the friday night game anymore..

NRL has 2 games on Friday night.
with the FOX pulling in big numbers for the 6pm game.
this would effect the FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL standalone game
So 4hrs of RL cant be compared to 3 hrs of AFL?
If you're going to be that picky might as well not compare ratings at all

when you have a game before the game you comparing...
it can have affects on the 8pm game.

If the AFL had a game before Friday Night Game>>
I know they could not because of the length.

do you not think this would effect the 7:50pm Game.

or do you think it does nothing..
or do you think it increases it.
or do you think it decreases it..
Doesnt stop RL fans comparing their 2 hour game to our 3 hour game. Doesnt stop RL fans comparing fox ratings on Saturday when the nrl have 6 hours of sport and we have 12-15 with most overlapping

Thanks for the figures Wookie.

I have to say...
For the "world's least popular sport" fuck, AFL is popular!

The AFL have dropped 500k in 2 rounds, So why isnt the AFL decent line much sharper? Let me guess, your making this crap up as we go along. [-( how pathetic.

I showed you last year that this was wrong. Melbourne dont get a 4th FTA game except on only a few weekends. The other states do but many of Adelaide and Perth's 4 FTA game are on significant delay.

Having a few more games over the year is far less important that overlapping most of them. For example if the NRL have one Thursday night game on FTA it rates around 1mil. The AFL's 2 Saturday night games rate around that combined because they compete against each other

So it looks like Leeroy is suggesting the only real comparable game is Thursday night even though the AF goes for 50% more time

Why is that you dismiss this as if it's irrelevant?

It clearly is.

Uh oh... doesn't fit the narrative again, so it's just ignored.

Another year of banging your head into a wall nlol.

Fumble Ball : But But But

Melbourne play Thursday N(17matches) +, Friday N(23), Saturday N(24), Sunday (23)

Adelaide Thur N (17), Fri(23), Sat/N (343), Sun/N (312), +

Perth Thur (17),Fri (23), Sat/N(135) Sun (112+)

plus a few other games.

NRL.

Sydney Thur N(23), Fri (25), Sat(6), Sun(24), Wed(3)
Qld 'ditto'

and a few other rep games. And we will still come out on top :thumbleft:

It’s only comparable in the eyes of the nrlol fans when it suits their argument! When it doesn’t it’s unfair and irrelevant

AFL

Melb
rnd1 4 games
rnd2 4
rnd3 4
rnd4 4
rnd5 4
rnd6 5 easter
rnd7 3
rnd8 3
rnd9 3
rnd10 4
rnd11 3
rnd12 3
rnd13 3
(cannot get TV schedule for remaining rounds yet)
=47 or 3.6 FTA games per round. Over the season this is 83 FTA games per season in Melbourne

For Sydney the NRL have 75 FTA games plus at least 3 rep games of SOO. Therefore the difference is less than 5 FTA games.

That is NOT 1 extra FTA game per round [-X Therefore the FTA advantage is very small. The NRL has a massive STV advantage by showing every game in isolation. Thursday and Friday games show the AFL rates more on fox on average. The NRL then make up the difference because their remaining 6 games are in isolation compared to the AFL's remaining games which are almost all overlapping.

I dismiss it because when I apply this theory to $$ value & point out the NRL is more valuable ( according to the theory) suddenly the but but buts come out .
You can't have it both ways .
Loler talks about how many hrs ..3v 2 per game etc .
27 hrs per week v 18
You break that down to hrs NRL iss far more valuable product.

Over to you .

This crapper, why is any nlol-logic somehow irrelevant?

I didn't say anything about being more valuable p/m.
