You're a very nasty POS bummy! I suggest you calm down pal. Now to my question: Has RL currently got the 2 best rating programs of the year??

Cheers in anticipation of your cool, calm and respectful answer.
When you give anything approaching a respectful post to respond to then Ill give it the apropriate treatment

I dont give a fuck about your questions.

Thanks bummy! I appreciate your reluctance to be under scrutiny so I will assist. I'll go out on a limb and say RL currently has the 2 most watched programs on Australian TV in 2023.

If this is untrue I most respectfully, and with much gratitude in advance, thank you.

Have a great pal!

so how'd we go last night punters ?

:hmm:

so...
the Swines in a re-match of last years GF rated ........... 30K in Sydney :-k
&
the Storm rated the same in Melb 8-[
    :(/ :(/ :(/

lets add STV shall we ( streaming est)
Storm V Penrith rated 390K
Swines V Gee 240K

as per my very accurate calculations re the % of Storm viewers in Melb having foxtel or kayo because thats where most of their games are viewed exclusively
& the fact every Swines game is on FTA in NSW , & times are tough economically atm , certainly in one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in , Sydney , so almost no Swines fans have foxtel or kayo

so a total of 50K Sydneysiders watched the Swines last night &
75K watched the Storm in Melb

What is going on here my dear fumble friends????? Your little game seems to be tanking disastrously on Fox. What is it happening? Have folk woken up to the fact that its a stumbling, fumbling, bumbling mess??? Has the bubble mentality been pricked??? Pray, do tell fumblers??????

I suspect the chickens are coming to roast lololololololololol!!!!!!!! Karma is a bitch lololololol!!!! Enjoy!!!!!

Those NRL numbers mean nothing, they are a joke, nobody cares less. The AFL being Australias favourite game and national sport always wins the better broadcast deal, always will.
National companies prefer the reach of the AFL into all markets when it comes to product advertising . NRLs limited two state reach just doesn't cut it .

When the next broadcast deal pays the AFL a billion dollars or two more than the NRL ( as they always do ) we can all have a laugh at how irrelevant the NRL is in the context of a National market.

It is National enough for you and me.
Consider the following.
Very strong competitions and participation numbers all over Australia.
Local Sydney metropolitan league over 100 years of history Local competitions in many other areas of NSW also been a big part of the community and strongly supported especially in the Riverina , Murray and far south coast.
Even in Newcastle , the competition is of a reasonable standard.
Ditto for Qld, many well supported community based competitions.

Cannot deny the AFL is a national competition just because TV viewing statistics in some states are only modest.

the NFL in New York ?
NHL in Toronto ?

this silly little bumbling abortion from Vicderpia 40 years after its had teams in Sydney & Brisbane , still ... isn't popular enough to be shown on main channels     :(/ :(/ :(/

33 US states do not have a MLB team.
28 US states do not have an NFL team.

More the half of the US is not represented by their β€œNational Sport.

A bit like the NRL in Oz.
