Always find it a bit odd that the exact 2 events can be be show on different channels, but counted separately, both for the AFL and NRL….doesn't really show the popularity of the “event/game” but the channel.

to be fair, you guys frequently compare Origin/Rep ratings to things that arent Origin/Rep fixtures in the AFL.

To be even fairer........WE do not!!!! We repeatedly say that RL is a 3 tiered sport unlike fumbling. SOO/rep RL cannot be compared to anything in the AFL because it simply doesn't have anything like it. Simple stuff bummy.

What WE do point out is that year on year RL will have 4 of the top 5 ratings on Aus TV due to SOO. Which of course sends you and your fumbling mates into hysterical discombobulations!!!

It means a bit more than jack shit! looking back 10 years our rights contract has improved by almost 100% . Not bad for an organisation that has 1/3of the advertising time.

I can see though how the 10m figure would be embarrassing but hey look at the bright side , we could include origin, which was played during the season and then it would 20million Wow!
