Incredible numbers for the NRL! With streaming it'll be way over 400k!!!!!!!!

Surely Peter The Great has to get a FTA Saturday night game every week in the next broadcast deal. It's a dead set no brainer!!!!!!

news flash, Seven do not do streaming of there games.

however 9 do (and we have no figures on them)

there has been numerous reports on Streaming this year i think 4 rounds in total
and NRL has won them all.

There has also been quoted in the reports, the highest rating game for streaming
and NRL have won them all..

I didn't know that. So AFL rates strongly on metro FTA. But RL beats it on regionals, 9 streaming and flogs it on Fox/Kayo!!! I suspect RL has won many more games in total ratings head to head than we think.
Yep, FOX has all the rights to streaming in AFL> via Kayo and other platforms.

where as NRL is split with there coverage.

This is what PVL is hoping is a big selling point, with the rise of streaming in the next FTA DEAL>

Consistent with Th and FR games shown in isolation but simulcast on FTA. Proves me correct yet again

What we do here is count viewers and as usual there was a lot less whachng your mess . Meaning you were smashed once again last night , regardless of your tedious excuses and BS youve got less on quiet a few occasions this year!
Maybe in nrl land 798 is higher than 804. Not for the rest of the population
Pal, you really are living in a fantasy world. Once streaming is added it will be an easy win for RL. Truth and facts seem to not be your forte.
Terry, Sydney is in strict lockdown. They should be rating near 1mil, not struggling to beat 800k.

Or maybe ppl in Sydney refuse to watch nrl even when forced to stay at home indoors

what are you trying to state
that this game should of rated higher because of lockdown..

It rated pretty well and lockdown helped this match get higher figures.

Quick Lesson of the team that was playing.

Canterbury Bulldogs.
cant score points
cant defend
cant win

how much do you think the figures went up when Melbourne was in lockdown..

I would say 120k on average for FTA games into Melbourne.
let alone alot of mid week games helping drive up figures

and Grand Final in lockdown

i find it hard to believe that you are denying that lockdown's do not lift ratings ...

Networks Seven and Fox admitted this was the case..

this does not mean NRL would see the same lift as AFL did in Melbourne..
as both a very different.. and Sydney is early in the lockdown and rules have just been tighten again

Hard Lockdown in sydney is different, yesterday you could go pub and still watch the footy and a beer.
i assume this will change quick smart.

RL peeps here were very quick to point out how good AFL ratings were due to lockdown. Doesn't it work both ways?

Lockdown with a few stars missing for each side. The Crows had many of their best players missing on Friday night too

I can't see a logical reason why lockdown would advantage the AFL more then the NRL. In fact one weekend involved Brisbane and Sydney in lockdown. The AFL only ever had Melbourne in lockdown

Of course ya can't pal, because you ain't logical lolololololl!!!!!!! And you don't wanna know the truth!!!!!

Unfortunately for you the data shows a small rise in Sydney RL FTA numbers during lockdowns and a very large rise in Melbourne AFL numbers.
Just the facts..............and the truth............but you won't wanna know that!!!!!!!

You should know by now that but but but excuses are only okay for when the nrl do poorly but same said excuses do not apply to the afl. If they afl do well it’s because this or that…. Yet when the nrl fail to do well under the same circumstances, for some reason, the same logic doesn’t apply lol. No point trying to point this out as the people you continually argue with don’t want to know … cognitive dissonance I believe.
