You and your pet dog spot are the only ones that didn't hear. Plus check out Friday night. #AFL Friday night final viewing time: 293.886m minutes.
#NRL Friday night final viewing time: 203.765m minutes.
You just chose not to hear. You have your fingers in your ears singing LA LA LA LA! So that you don't have to hear the sounds that the AFL is making.

Wow wee, yet another thumping win for the AFL over the NRL in the tv ratings.
Gee whiz, the Western Sydney Giants have proven to be more popular in Sydney (93,000), than the Storm in Melbourne (50,000) on Friday night. Channel 7 would be very happy, Channel 9 on the other hand… hmm…. eek.

Seven secures a massive +40% share, its biggest Saturday outside the World Cup and up four on the previous week. The AFL game that featured main channel coverage along the east coast did well for home cities Adelaide where it was the number one show and Sydney where almost 100k tuned in. The 750k preliminary audience compared to 747k last year.
Nine’s share was down six thanks to the afternoon scheduling of the NRL semi-final (and a one-sided game). The game was the top non-news program in Sydney and Brisbane but only drew 17k in Melbourne where it was on the main channel. The result compared to 562k in 2022 when it was the only sport in prime time.
The NRL proved to be a poor lead in for Nine News in Melbourne where the news was at a 2023 low (subject to adjustment for a late start). It also had an interesting impact on 10 News in Melbourne that posted one of it highest audiences of the year as Nine viewers sought an alternative. Nine’s primetime saw A Current Affair do well but NRLW miss the top 20.

Would be good if we could get the figures for fox for each city rather than just an ivers figure. They did this for a few games some time back - so they can do it - I wonder why they don’t?

You’re an idiot. Of course they’re happy being the number one tv network thanks to the AFL. No doubt feeling much better than how Channel 9 would be after viewing their disastrous tv ratings for NRL.truthbomber wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 11:54 pmBeaussie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 9:11 pmChannel 7 is very happy with the AFL finals.
