the paddle pop wions (2nd) were playing some team from mongbourne that were 1st on the ladder last night
80K watched in Brisbane

there were no Brisbane teams playing in the NRL last night
hell , none from QLD in fact

still
82K watched the NRL in Brisbane

& when you take STV into account
probably 10K for the derps & misses , & 50K for the NRL

it was an easy win for RL

now
what was it that deluded drongo who runs skinnywhiteboyball was saying ?
that the fumbles & bumbles would be QLD's numb one sport in a few years ?
:hmm:

Rugby League really took a massive hit during the Womens Soccer World Cup.

taking away 8 NRL used stadiums hurt the NRL's presence i felt (2 whole months)

Be interesting to see how much it can lift 2 rounds out from finals

Panthers V Cowboys this afternoon on STV only will be one of the most watched pay tv games of the year
it has enormous ramifications for the following

Cowboys have to win & hope the Raiders lose on Sunday , lose & they start their off season today.
Penrith have to win to secure their 3rd minor premiership in a row

Raiders & Roosters fans will be cheering loudly for the Panthers
They both need the Cows to lose to secure their spot in the finals , Raiders can still qualify if the cowboys win by beating the Sharks tomorrow , & its the Roosters off on post season hols should the Cows get up

Broncos fans , cheering loudly for their cousins from the North ( if Penrith lose then the Broncs win their first minor premiership in 21 years )

enormous game
ratings will be literally
off the charts
