Bunch of bludgers you AFL blokes. We have a team in New Zealand. An Indeginous All Star game, TEST MATCHES!!!

When the NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS play the Storm in Melbourne, its like a home game for them with the amount if support they get. Im sorry, I dont see thousands of Kiwis in the stands for Carlton v Collingwood!

Our Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons have a large middle-eastern/arabic following. Again, I apologize, but I missed the colour in the crowd when I watched Geelong v Port.

Honestly, this is a non contest.

So where's NRL's multicultural program organisation then? Or does the NRL prefer chaos as AFFP said?

it comes under the banner of our

" one community " program
afterall thats what we are ... & unlike the AFL .. we believe that

have a look at our embassadors

one Maltese
one Lebanese
one Indigenous
one Anglo

our programs are the best around
& the AFL could learn plenty from us

Oho! That's not a multicultural program! That's a community program for juniors and the ladies in regional NSW and QLD!

Back in a sec with the link you want.

Edit; Here you go.

Can't see Multicultural program mentioned or listed anywhere on your link Raider. Making things up again?.

Gotta love how the NRL program was launched too. A boozy night for NRL players. Bet they didn't even know what was being launched.
Rugby League's One Community program was launched at the inaugural Player's Charity Christmas Party on December 7, 2006.

Using the strong profile of Rugby League, ‘One Community' works across all levels of the game - players, volunteers, supporters and corporate partners - to make a positive difference to people's lives.

It specifically focuses on improving the lives of children and families who are in need and also responds to key public needs by building strategic partnerships in the areas of health, education and social issues.

Since its inception, One Community has grown into the largest and most comprehensive community relations program in Australian sport.

Rugby League doesnt need a multicultural program because the sport has naturally attracted, embraced and been inclusive of people of many cultures.

Beaussie I'm still waiting for you to show me an AFL team which suggests the sport is multicultural

All this says one thing to me. SO WHAT?? It's nothing compared to what the AFL do, and do it through the program TLPG linked. The NRL have no such organsation. So it's chaotic.
Again, your program was created to address an issue.
Lets see; to appeal to the Pacific Islander community in Western Sydney, we'll sign a young NRL player who hasnt kicked a ball in his life.
Honestly, theyre like flies in milk!

Melbourne Storm Team to play this week

Sisa Waqa (fijian)
Maurice Blair (indigenous)
Justin O'Neil
Dane Neilsen
Adam Blair (NZ Maori)
Jesse Bromwiche
Kevin Proctor
Sika Manu (Tongan)

So go through your AFL lineups this week and if you can match that I'll be very surprised.

Like I said
we don't need to " separate " any groups into a " Multicultural " one

we embrace all our Players & suppoters as part of our " one community "
thats what we all are

the AFL thinks people need to have their differences pointed out to them by putting them in a special group .. its appalling & most out of touch , a bit like that sport in general

they need a lesson or two from the NRL & one of them is this
there is no colour or creed on the football field
there should be none in the stands either

As has already been mentioned, I'd rather have organisation (AFL) than a proverbial "dog's breakfast" (NRL). It shows who is taking the matter truly seriously and promoting it as same. The NRL thinks things can look after themselves. They couldn't be more wrong.

The AFL give only lip service to the program

the rampant racial abuse issues in the AFL itself
& its lower tiers , down to its district football prove this

their " program " for all its self promotion & drum beating ...has done nothing to curb the racial intollerance
being reported everywhere ATM .. in your game.

its not worth the paper its written on
