Hanging in there but worried about the scoreline tomorrow night at ANZ Stadium. Just praying that somehow the bye affects the Pies and the Swans don't cop our annual thrashing.

A few pundits are predicting a close one, Beau. And I respect that because I have a feeling in my bones that it will be as well.

Hmmmm I cant agree with you once again TLPG although for once I'd like to. We'll have to wait and see but going on their form I think they're gunna cop a thorough hiding.

Hmm yeah but who are the other clubs who have had a bye? I dont buy it for this round.

Everyone has had at least one bye. IIRC the only club that beat the curse without playing another club that was also coming off a bye was Geelong.

Collingwood are coming off the bye, and that has been a bad omen for all clubs so far in 2011.
Gee I hope you're right. Sick of being Collingwood's bitches

hahaha Ca swannies. I agree and seeing that Geelong are the onlyother team that's done it I think even more the swans are going down. Collingwood/Geelong not much difference really.

One's unbeaten and the other's not. Big difference.

Feeling gutted to have got so close but still fall short. Good 4 quarter effort though Swans. I still love ya. Wish our basic skills when under pressure would improve. Oh and I still can't stand feral Collingwood supporters. Why do they make going to the footy so difficult. Their song irritates me.

Well the bye almost got them! So much for those who predicted that Collingwood would win easily. They barely got out of that one. So now we have two sides who have beaten the bye hoodoo.

It wasn't the bye that almost got Collingwood. It was the Swans. From what I heard they played a lot better than they have in previous weeks. Gives me some renewed faith in them.

No, Collingwood went back to old habits with their conversion. The bye caused that, not the Swans.

Fair point.
