Add the tv ratings to your figures for more credibility.

And also please add on the footy clubs NRL vs AFL in the gold coast region for a touch more credibility.

Crowd averages is only one indicator. Albeit a good one, it by no means indicates which sport is supported more in a region. Any baboon knows this.

Side note - Onions/Beaussie doesnt know the meaning of credibility. He does know that the AFL gets higher crowds though, I'll give him that

the titans have nearly 9000 members .. most are full ticketed
they've only been offering part memberships in the last few weeks

& I don't recall many NRL sides running last averaging nearly 17K a game , thats not too shabby , well done Titans.
the have have beefed up delux for 2012 & will once again be challenging for a finals spot

come back n compare notes in 5 years when the suns are running last .... still
when they have 4K members .. & average 8K a game
hmmmm... make it 3 years

In five years the Suns will be competing for the eight. They have a great bunch of juniors and a great leader. You have no idea what you're talking about, and are you questioning that website's accuracy?

The website that Beau got the stats from. Look at the post you quoted.

And you just proved again that you know nothing about AFL. The Suns younger players will be prospering in five years, and no they will not be doomed because it takes time to develop a firm base. You're showing the same sort of patience as the NRL did to the Reds, Rams and Krushers. You have to be able to walk before you can run you know!

It quoted the crowd figures .. not the membership figures '
maybe its you who should have a look

& NRL fans know a lot more about the sporting landscape on the glitter strip then AFL fans do.. or ever will
we've been there in different forms since 1988 .. we know what they want
if its 5 years
kiss em goodbye now.

It quoted both, blind man!

If the NRL knew the Gold Coast as well as you think, they would know there's a big threat there from the AFL.
