Have we under estimated the Blues in 2011?

Post by Beaussie »

Going along very nicely this season. Still can't believe they got within 2 points of beating the Cats last night. Do you think they can finish in the top 4?

I hate to say it but I get a feeling they are gunna be in the top four. Not a team I've ever liked.

Did you see their Grandmama fan going off her nut in the crowd? I liked her!

Was that Barb by any chance?

I actually predicted pre season that they were a chance for the grand final. Carlton's a pet hate of mine as well, but credit where credit is due. They should actually have beaten Geelong last night.

Being a cats supporter i was happy with the win BUT the cats played very scrappy tired football for most of the night.
Whether it had something to do with playing a tough match the week before or bobby passing away? carlton ran us off our feet all night!

A lovely Freudian slip kaskill

The NRL sure is popular and entrenched up there on the gold coast. And looks like it permeates kaskill's consciousness down in geelong too! If that's where he's from.

meh

Getting back to the topic I'm not so sure about Carlton anymore either. I dont know whether its because TLPG thinks they are the goods this season or not but I suddenly have the feeling they are on the verge of a slide down the ladder. Tipped Melkbourne to knock them off this weekend...

 I'll pay that.

But 'honestly', I think the planets might be aligning for me on this one. Melbourne are due to click and can play some pretty tops footy. And TLPG's judgement is something which needs to be critiqued at all costs. It's a no brainer in my opinion.
