WHY DO WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ANNOYING COMMENTATORS WITH THEIR OPINIONS...WHY NOT JUST CALL THE GAME AS LOU RICHARDS AND PETER LANDY USED TO...

Special comments commentators are good for those that don't understand the game that well - especially up here in Sydney next year with new GWS fans tuning in. I think Leigh Matthews and Paul Roos are the best - some of the others are pretty average though.

Agreed that they are required need and Leigh and Roos are probably the best going round.

I agree as well, and bye bye Robert Walls!

Good riddance to Walls and Lane. Ten's coverage this season since losing out on the AFL tv rights has really gone downhill.

Tim's okay, Beau. With him it depends on who he's working with.

I can't stand Tim Lane or the Ten commentary team when the Swans are involved. So negative. A real turn off if you ask me.

I tend to disagree with that.
Background observations can be enlightening to the seasoned viewer - interchanges, injuries ,tactics etc.
The problem is that stations feel obliged to use their full team even when not required.
