Karmichael Hunt's Switch to AFL

Wow, big news for footy in QLD and in particular the Gold Coast Football Club. Apparently Hunt was pretty good with the sherrin in his junior days. How do people think he'll go when playing in the big league? Should AFL clubs target more NRL players?

I think he will struggle big time - especially fitness - league is only 80 minutes - AFL 120 at least.

AFL Clubs employee people full time to get players up to AFL standard fitness levels. I dont think fitness will be an issue.

It's a massive scalp for Gold Coast. Certainly going to be exciting to see how he goes.

I'm concerned about his kicking ability more than anything else.

The Irish players seem to adapt to that, he shouldn't have a problem with it.
