The AFL is to blame for making the umpires interpret so many stupid rules. Holding the ball is a joke and certainly not in the sprirt of the game and so is 'hands' in the back. Both need to go back to 5 years ago where it was cut and dried about their definition.
Over umpired & often one sided. I've noticed a trend of teams seemingly favoured by the umpires (and not just those opposing my team) and this year is worse with the new rules. I'm supprised there is still the occasional speccie with the "hands in back" & "high tackle rules".
