Dragons: So far so good.

The Dragons have always featured thereabouts in the mix come finals time but quiet often they fall short. If you look back the the start of each year the first 7 games often look like a winning percentage of 15%.
The main downside to the team over the last 10 years hasn't been what they are not doing, it's always been about the approach to a game and how they deal with low points in the game. Errors, not being able to recover from low periods of games and general stupid actions saw close games go to the opposition.
These key traits of yesteryear have not been seen since Wayne Bennett has been at the helm.
4 wins from 5 games and the shere turn around in mental development from the guys who were regarded as firecrackers.
3 players. Jeremy Smith, Michael Weyman and Jarrod Saffy have been seen as talent but there explosive anger at key moments is what often had them seen as bad investments. This transformation of a side that always had talent but didn't know how to make it work as one has this supporters heart beat go up just a bit at the thought of a great season ahead.
After watching the games over the last 5 weeks i think that the sheer physical fitness of many players is what has seen my team win so far this year.
13 guys across the field appear to not get tired.
Forwards who can play a strong 80 minutes and backs who can hit up with as much force as a front rower are draining the energy out of other teams.
The first 3 games we saw a side that defended there way to 2 wins. The last 2 weeks the pinpoint accuracy of Soward and a emerging attacking raid by a team makes see that there is going to be more to my team that we have only just started to see.
Injuries have happened but they are not hampering our move forward..
Thoughts ?
