2008 Fixture

Does anyone else think that this years fixture is absolutly ridicoulos??? i think its stupid how teams are playing other teams twice in a matter of weeks before they play other teams once??? it stinks they need to have a good look at it and make sure all teams play each other once before they have to meet teams for the second time! hawthorn played melbourne twice in the first 9 rounds of this year.

I agree, Kaskill. They have to have the first fifteen rounds having everyone playing each other once, and then do whatever with the remaining rounds.
Mind you, I think it's about time the AFL looked at less teams so we can have everyone playing each other twice. Yeah I know, who would go? But we can get away with shedding two only - and have 26 rounds after ditching the pre season comp.

haha i think they are going to be heading the other way TL with adding the 2 more teams! imagin how shattering it would be for players, supporters and anyone that had to do with a club if they were no more, i know id be very upset!

It sucks as i would have loved to see Port play Geelong sooner so we can give them a good old smashing!.....
