Sick of Australia's dominance

Post by King-Eliagh »

This may sound selfish but fuuuuck I am sick of Australia's domination of world cricket. Each friggin test is so bloody predictable. 4 days. Opposition collapses Aus win by 6 to 10 wickets or 200 to 400 runs. Or more. I know people say it all goes in cycles and things will change, like how about the west indies in the 80's. I say bullshit. During the 80's the windies were good but you could still see a test match and know the game could be a close competition. I havent seen more than 4 odd competitive, quality test matches Australia have played in in five years. Boring stuff I say. Not blaming the cricketers here just speaking my mind. And as bad as it sounds to say I am looking forward to Warney and McGraths retirement. I recall while both were out there seemed to be a close test or two. I will miss those two and hope Warney keeps in the media for more of his famous fuckups. But world cricket will be better off for those Australians who love a close test.

I'm with you KE, I'm so over Australia's dominance of international cricket. I had high hopes earlier in the week for Pakistan but as usual they collapsed and the test was over in 4 days again.
