All alone with the bleedin' steeden

Post by Scorger Man »

Did anyone listen to JJJ for the state of Origin?? My annual ritual was denied last Wednesday as "Rampaging" Roy Slaven was absent and left HG Nelson to talk tripe with the inexperienced crappy panel of Jason Stevens (the retired league playing virgin christian) and Scott Gooley(whoever he is when he at home) They tried really hard to be funny but beside going for the obvious toilet humour, they were pretty shit (excuse the pun) I'm investigating the matter and will keep you all updated whether you want to know or not....TBC

After no response from Aunty in regards to JJJs SOO call from Roy and HG, I have found that they will be back on Sunday arvos for this sporting life. I'm not sure whether this means they will be back for Game 2 of the Andrew John Memorial SOO series but we can only hope. If not then I guess it will be ABC Grandstand which is not as funny but 100% better that the channel 9 commentary.

If you mean Scott Gourley, he was a Dragons player for 7 years who then went to the Roosters for 2 years more.He played 1 Origin game and 1 test game and was a Union test player as well.

State Of Origin Game 2
Wednesday 13 June from 7:30PM (Eastern states only).

Australia's most passionate sports broadcasters, Roy Slaven & HG Nelson, are all set to call the next game in the State Of Origin saga. Can NSW claw back some self respect and level the series? Who cares! It's going to be hilarious!.
(From the JJJ website)

By the looks of this, Roy is back for the call tonight, one can only hope! [-o<

Yes, the big HG Nelson intro was causing some concern for a bit there but the introduction to Rampaging Roy Slaven was music to my ears. =D>

Go QLD, what's the bet we see some Kooris in the NSW team for game 3 now it's a dead rubber
