State of Origin - Yes or No?

Latest news is that Chris Judd has said he'd like to play for the Big V if the SoO series was scheduled before the season starts. What do you think, are you in favour of a return of SoO and if yes, when should it be scheduled? I'd like to see it return with NSW/ACT and QLD having their own teams and not that Allies crap we saw last time we had SoO.
Apparently the AFL is seriously considering bringing back SoO for the 2008 season.

I miss watching the little v getting their asses kicked by the powerful SA teams....also the Allies concept is crap and the idea of a NSW/ACT team and a team from NT would be great.
The NRL tries to make out their State of Origin is better but it is just overrated bullshit!

Still reckon all the players can talk about playing in a State of Origin now but when it comes to actually getting up for the game and having the best players available it won't happen. Clubs invest too much in their players to have them injured in a game that doesnt mean much. As a spectacle it would be great and I'd definitely watch it but the clubs won't allow it. We dont have the Blues V Maroons thing in the AFL.

Maybe the AFL has to come down hard on the clubs that won't allow these players to play for their States. After all the AFL is good at giving clubs penalites.....just ask Essendon!

All true and perhaps what Grim says above is the way to go. Without a strong directive from the AFL, the clubs will continue to put pressure on their players not to play. Such a shame.
