Yellow Cards

HI all, I'm usually on the AFL site but having jumped onto the already crowded Socceroos bandwagon I'm hoping you can tell me what happens with yellow cards. With some star players on yellow cards we obviously dont want them sent off, in the World Cup how long does the yellow card apply, is it the rest of the tournament or a certain number of games. Cheers

Not entirely sure but I think it is a certain number of games from 1-3. Sorry I don't know more, perhaps someone else can enlighten us all.

Someone told me the cards last until the end of the group stage then they're wiped, not sure who got yellow cards in last nights game but at least the Socceroos have their own destiny in their hands from now on, hope they go for the win, stuff the draw just in case Brazil have a few dollars on themselves being beaten well by Japan.
