My thoughts are around 15th for this season and probably 16th for 2007. What do you guys reckon? :)

Funny that KE because just the other day I was reading in the paper that the Lions were firming as favourites for the wooden spoon. Who'd have thought that before the season begun?

Preseason I picked the Lions and Bombers as teams to improve and the Dogs to not meet the hype.
As of round 5, my 5 year old son does my tips & in 2 weeks I look like having as many as I got in the first 4 weeks!
The poor kid has however inherited my love for Freo & hate for the chardonnay eGirls.
It worked this week. Yeeha!
Sorry, Brissy doesn't look good.
Only positive is that it is early in the year & I reckon teams like the Cats could come good when they should.
as for the chardonnay eGirls, today highlighted how much they rely on chris judas. he is an out & out superstar & without him the yuppies would not make the 8!
apologies on behalf of my fellow Freo fans for the booing.
It was uncalled for, unjustified & hopefully uncharacteristic.
life is good. Freo forever!

Gee beachlover you must be happy with Freo's form thus far. Great victory over the E-Girls yesterday too. I think Freo will make the top 4 this year. Did you go to the game?

No Beaussie. I used to be a member, but resigned when they "resigned" the current coach. I was appalled and I felt it could cost the club irreperably.
As a protest I have not signed up as a member and will not do so until we get a coach.
I would love to have to eat my words but Freo do it so often, that after a very good win, they fall over again.
this is not a light decision I have made. I avoid the eGirl chardonnay yuppy club sponsors and actively work (in the Education field) to promote Freo.
I find it galling to see in what should geographically be a Freo stronghold, young kids in eGirl colours outnumbering the pure few by about 5 to 1!
This is the power of positive positioning and I am furious that my team with more talent than the yuppies down the road consistently finish below them.
I wish I was there but principles are important.
life is good. Freo forever!

Seems such a shame you're missing out on what looks to be an exciting season ahead for the Dockers. You're hurting your club financially too by not being a member.

Well with the lions sitting on 12th and looking as shaky as ever my prediction of 15th may not be far off!!

Essendon are starting to look the goods of late and if they win their last 3 and the lions lose their last three i just might be spot. And who would've thought it eh

They really have to be one of the worst stories in recent AFL history with the way they have fallen from grace so shamefully...just a disgusting football club!

Just curious as to how your feeling now. How good was that win against the Crows, even if it did mean I lost the half-time/full-time (Freo/Adelaide) bet I had on the game. :(
