Wookie you posted the AFL's regular season totalled 75.7m . With about 5.5m for the 1st round of semis. That works out about 81.1m.The_Wookie wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 1:58 pmnrl needs an audience of 1.2m today to catch years Week 1 finals, and audience of 2.23m to catch up to the AFL.

I mean I guess you could say that's where being a truly national comp comes in handy. Not having to rely on one state and more chances of each state being represented at least once (with NSW being the only state with a team that didn't make finals this year)leeroy*NRL* wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 6:49 pmbe lucky to hit 800k for todays game.The_Wookie wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 1:58 pmnrl needs an audience of 1.2m today to catch years Week 1 finals, and audience of 2.23m to catch up to the AFL.

Quarter Finals in NRL are pretty much the same as the H&A season>> ratings wise.
you can see the effect with no QLD clubs in finals has on ratings for NRL come finals time.
why would the AFL being based in QLD make a difference to QLD's ratings?leeroy*NRL* wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 6:43 pmlol lolNlolRL wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2020 11:42 amStorm rated 76k on primary channel last night compared to 149k for the Lions on FN. i think it has more do to that the AFL has based it self in QLD ?? don't you recan ?
kinda strange that it hits it highest figure outside of Grand Final ever..
this year has had everything, things will resume as per normal next year.

just a tad , no question this contributed about 500K to the AFLs ratings from Vic over the 4 games
