Great figures I say. I even thought the crowd was reasonable for Melbourne.

International “footy” is alive and well. I think the nrl or ark or whoever it is that governs these matches should place more of a focus come internationals throughout the year. People love to get behind their country whether it be Rl, soccer, union or cross country farknarkling.

pretty good effort>>

so you are prob looking at close to 3mill once all games regionals are included.

AUS V ENG

disappointing this game was played Melbourne as the opening game!

In BRISBANE this would of been a sell out>>

653k metro for Aust V Frogs. With regionals should get around 1m. Top non news program of the night. Took Ch7 to No 1 for the night.

What's ya negative spin on that one Wookie??

Big drop in Melbourne viewers last night for Channel 7. Australia vs France RLWC beaten by a Harry Potter movie on Channel 9, DCi Banks and Endevour on the ABC and The Living Room and the Graham Norton Show on Channel 10. Not a great result I would’ve thought.

Beau even Link would be able to work out that there is a lot of difference between England and France when it comes to RL. The drop of in Melbourne viewers is no different to Sydney or anywhere else  Harry Potter didn't get much more than 400k :hmm:

So the kangawhos barely rated over a million and got a crowd of around 12k last night, all against no other sport. Wow, AFL fans must be exceedingly jealous of these RL internationals

Lol the jealousy of the fumblers is as predictable as the sun rising & setting or an elite fumble athlete fumbling a ball .
Ratings were fine considering the game .
& good ratings are better than NONE.

given most of our Friday night games outrated and outdrew this RL international (against another NRL game), what is there to be jealous about? :(/

That's a further million in front as RL continues to power away from the fumbling game in TV ratings. And there'll be more in the bank today and tomorrow. Well played RL.
