I'm talking about the basketcase xman you goose. Remember the sun shines out of a basketcasesides butt once every now and then. /so after 6 teams and 20plus matches you can only site 2 wins - giants v swans in round one and saints v the ever drug affected bombers?

I rest my case

 can someone please educate swines about the basketcase league? Xman? Can you do it.

Anyway. Swines beating the gws giants and melbs demons by 13 points isn't exactly what you'd call the sun shining out of a basketcase sides butt

Actually beating those teams by such a small margin is kinda what defines stkilda as a bonafide bastketcase! :(/

You look pretty stoopid right now swines. :thumbleft:

Nice deflection KE but 3 wins from 5 is a lot better than 2 wins from 7 which is the case for four NRL sides!!!

Its not a deflection at all snotbrains. The basketcase league is a league of its own. If stkilda can get equal to or more than two wins against non-basketcase league sides by mid season i'll consider your point. If not they're a fukkin basketcase league, gottit? ;)

Now prove your worth and make a thread the same about the nrl. You'll fail miserably because the nrl is relatively even in terms of competitiveness and therefore very hard to make such bold calls this early in the season.

So on your definition the Saints need to win 4 games against a middle to top ranked team or theyre a basketcase? What if they win 8 games against "basketcase" teams? That'll give them 12 wins which means they may make the finals! :[]

They need to show competitiveness against sides outside the basketcase league xman. Is that so difficult to handle.

But you do raise a slightly fair point which I think the AFL should consider in this era of the basketcase league. For this I thankyou xman as it raises a real and valid option for the lopsided comp they call the AFL.

So guys, what do you think about the AFL dropping the top 8 to a top six to ensure that all teams in the finals are actually decent competitive sides??

Of the 5 games theyve played they beat Essendon, won 2 others, and lost in a reasonably close game to the eagles in Perth.

Not sure how youre classifying them as basket cases

It isnt lopsided, not compared to previous years. The Demons and Lions are poor but the rest of the teams are in the mix and winning on their good days.

We said it would happen but you just wouldn't listen

They won by very close margins against two of the greatest/worst examples of basketcasers in living history xman, melbs and gws. So please, count that dumb argument right out of the equation. Yes they LOST to perth by 25. Perth a team who are proving to be great and shite this season, so fukkin what. Is that your best argument? Seriously?

Hows this, they got absolutely thumped by 86 points at home to Adelaide, a team who many view as absolutely shithouse :_<>

My arguments just trounce you here xman, give it up chump.
