So this is where we post the RLWC ratings to further cement the win for RL in 2017. Apologies to Wookie for starting another thread - I got a bit excited as I expect all sports fans here would be. Should be a great game tonight. Bring it on.

Was last night’s RL World Cup opening game broadcast on Channel 7 in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth or 7mate?

Well we're off to a great start - 1.4 mill for the first game of the RLWC. The game took ch 7 to No 1 for the night. Well played RL. Well played Ch 7.

Although I did think their broadcast was rather amateur. Which is quite surprising considering they do broadcast the 2nd best rating code of football in the country. Hopefully they will improve over the course of the next 27 games.

So that's 1.4 mill more in the bank and plenty more to come.

How good are those numbers!!! And none on the main channel!! Even Mr TV is getting on board!!! I thought those games would struggle to get to 100k.

Doesn't look like Wookies trend of a 'huge' drop in RL ratings has kicked in yet lolololololololol.

I don't suppose there is any way to know the ratings in PNG and Fiji. PNG would be massive and Fiji very good.
