Where is 32k a sell out

A swans sell out is some 43, 45k
The Gabba, MCG has these issues also with the cricket club, corporates season ticket holders,
It’s a world that you leave fans clearly don’t understand.

Just because some ones business family or individual has a ticket doesn’t mean they will turn up every game of a h&a season

The ashes is a 4 year event, not a weekly winter occurrence

I would chirp in and say this. A sell out is different from ground capacity - just means no more tickets available. I think membership may be an issue here with people possibly not turning up - although I would think that was minimal - but I also wonder if seating arrangements are different - I know it is different with with the Gabba for instance. But 10000 roughly is a fair bit to account for I agree.

Cricket also losses seating due to Sight screens at each end.

makes the 49k look even better.

Yeah- I know for cricket it holds more at the gabba than for footy and was wondering if same for SCG.

aye Fred, do you know why for Cricket it holds more than AFL .. (im struggling to understand why?)
as Cricket generally loses 2k to 3k just in Site Screens alone

to answer your question regard's to SCG
it seems to be>> SCG Cricket games always get much higher than AFL games.
even when the Swans or the AFL announce a sell out.

Not sure really - I think it had something to do with sponsor areas - maybe i should double check :)

mixed messages - the AI google thing gives one figure and when you go to the site it links to it gives another (AI and Chat GPT are so often wrong). So the AFL site has

Capacity: 39,202
Address: Vulture Street, Woolloongabba, QLD 4105
Ground dimensions: 156m x 138m
Ticket agent: Ticketmaster

total capacity id 42000 according to Wiki.

The AI has cricket at 36000. Although I don't fully trust this as gives two figures. around 36500 - so I may stand corrected - it seems pretty much the same.

Brisbane Heat are calling sell outs at 32k

The BBL out drawing the NRL. No double headers and triple headers to triple count the crowds to boost numbers either!
