Biggest Game since 2019 for the Giants and about $200 million dollars later..
what will become of saturday and the investment
15 years and counting.
their support, all metrics infact ... have incredibly gone .... backwards .. since making the GF in 2019
Less TV veiwers , less players fumbling & missing in western sydney ... less fans at games ...
they have made finals 7 of the last 9 years too , made a prelim last year
the Grants are a disaster
no one cares
literally

Yep, the Ginats are a cluster f--k of a disaster at every level. But I would go so far as to say AFL in general in Sydney is as invisible as its ever been for the past 30 years +.
The Swanks still get good crowds and have a strong niche following of the 'beautiful people' elites of the affluent north and eastern suburbs. But the mass of the population had a look at the mess decades ago and decided it was an un-coordinated, unskilled fumbling disaster of a game.
It's 'progress' has stalled in the wealthy suburbs and gone backwards everywhere else. Hence we no longer hear the delusional claims of the game sweeping though the city and suburbs.
Whilst of course RL is in a purple patch with record TV ratings, crowds, registered players and overall interest. I say good luck to the Swanks and the knobs that follow them. And I feel sorry for the poor friendless bastard child of Australian sport........yep......the un-loved, unknown Ginats. The mob that are strangers to their own supposed 'home fans'.

The Giants are probably more popular in Western Sydney (being the second footy team there) than the Storm are in the whole of Melbourne, which is the sporting capital of the world. Oh also the storm have been awesome since they started in 1999. What does that say about what people think about Rugby League in a massive market which is Melbourne.

Do you think that people actually believe that dribble? lol The Snow cones only got 35,000 people in Melbourne that tuned in for their ratings down in Melbourne. You say their crowds are an average of 20,000 in Melbourne. Well take a look at the Swans average crowds in Sydney and the Giants average crowds as well. The Swans get bigger crowds than the Sydney Thugby teams each week, and the Giants crowds are getting better now that they are winning again.

I looked at the Grants average crowds you dribbling sp^astic
they're 5000 at best & not improving
The Storm are at 21500...& growing every year
The Grants are as popular on TV in Sydney as a turd flavoured lollipop
The Storm attract more TV eyeballs in melb then the Swines do in Sydney
The Swines fans are all ex pat sthn m^ongs or their lilly white offspring , or toffballers who no longer watch Rugby union... no one else in Sydney gives a rats fuck about that bumbling clown show

at what cost ?
its est fumbleball house has spent well over a billion dollars more then its heartland clubs... on the Swines ...since 1982
to get to where they are now , fake success , a rigged comp & still 97% of the population STILL not interested ...
The Storm have cost the NRL no more then any other club in the comp , the Storm tried to spend more on players then allowed , then everyone else , ( ya know , what the aflol allows its NSW & QLD clubs to do

)
The storm got caught .. & got severely punished
If the NRL had to have a rigged comp to get the Storm a little bit more success & spend over a billion $ to get there.... they'd say no thanks , we have integrity & we're happy with the Storm as they are

Facts are still facts - nrl would love the presence AFL have in Sydney, in Melbourne.

nope
Like I said , the Swines success is as a result of manipulation of the integrity of fumbleballs comp & has been extremely costly
If this is what would be required to get the Storm slightly bigger crowds in Melbourne & a few more members
They'd say ... no thanks
we are happy we haven't compromised our comp for fake success

Ex pats! lol Ok, so what if the Snow cones fans down in Melbourne are all ex pats? You love the ex pat excuse or story, hey. The whole world is full of ex pats! Your neighbours might be ex pats!
