The theory behind an AFL team in NZ is actually stronger than the case for the Storm in Melbourne

You lot really underestimate the AFL don't you? They expand aggressively overseas and do a great job under trying circumstances. A mere sniff of a fight makes the NRL run off, and thugby in general will suffer because the NRL is the strongest thugby league comp in the world. So if they run, what sort of precedent does that set for the others? I cite their treatment of Wagga recently as exhibit A!
