Yep, and Sydney are live every week in NSW no matter what, compare that to other vFL teams.

What's your point, the sports and their networks are as bad as each other?

With only 3 of those Swans games being on Friday night. Compare that to the 16 that the Broncos hog on Friday to make the nRL more TV money. The AFL puts the Swans on live for the fans. In fact the AFL demanding all this live coverage actually devalues the product, as the FTA networks prefer delayed games so they can throw more ads in. i.e. 9's Sunday nRL game. More evidence that the AFL's TV deal is so much better =D>

and 7 other teams get the same deal. And the Melbourne AFL teams get heaps more FTA games than the lowly Raiders

youre so stupid you just dont get it. Ch9 demand that the most popular team, the broncos, dominate your FTA schedule. This is at the expense of your struggling clubs.

The AFLs s schedule is dictated by the AFL, not ch7. Therefore all teams get a reasonable FTA schedule.

Before 2012 they didn't you fucking minda!

And on FTA they still don't as each market outside Vic shows their own teams as a priority, so if Collingwood's playing the FTA match and West Coast the Fox match both at the same time, then Perth miss out on the Collingwood match. Got it? Good.

Poor wittle vFL fans, can't handle being second, you'd think they would seeing as Victoria and everything from it has always been second rate compared to anything NSW does.

lol the AFL is never second to the nRL. Higher crowds, higher memberships, higher sponsorship, higher TV ratings, higher TV rights etc.

We'll give you the irrelevant money per minute crap though. No AFL fan gives a fucking shit about that

Lower TV ratings and merchandise sales

With the AFL being live this year, I think you'll find it smacked the nRL a new one in the tv ratings. As for merchandise, keep bsing. The AFL's huge crowds mean that you have millions more buying merchandise at the gate. nRL fans don't go to their games because the passion is not there, so why the fuck would they bother buying their clubs merchandise if they don't care?

Your precious regionals are no match for the AFL's regionals and Fox Footy's ratings combined. Which code had the highest rating game on Foxtel this year? Yep, the AFL did. Sydney v Collingwood pulled huge numbers.

Bahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahah

1 Friday night footy match brings in over 500,000 for RL from regional areas, could you point out where and when any fumbleball team got that on Pay TV?

Merci!

Pay TV plus regionals combined, yes quite easily.
