Here we go lol. Thursday night Game V Thursday night game. I will give you this - probably best to compare the NRLs return Thursday night game to AFLs last night.

Days or nights where there is a simple 1 v 1 comparison I think give the best measure.

I'd hold off until Saturday before breaking out the champaign.
Champagne. Dumbass.
Suns 25k :(/ :(/ :(/
Fortunately rights dont just encompass one Suns game.

Fortunately our competition doesn't just focus on Thursday and Friday nights.

Great point pussy. It's what's been said here forever. The AFL is a one trick pony domestic competition. Friday nights are their marquee events. Rugby League has three levels of the game. And we all know what SOO & internationals rate.

You might have to explain what that point is exactly Frederico. I suspect it's been dealt with here repeatedly in the past.

AFL always starts strong but NRL will finish year with more viewers. Don't even count sos & internationals to prevent blowout

Shall we dance again lol. I think it is well and truely a given that when there is an AFL game up directly with an nrl game (Thursday, Friday, Monday, finals on the same day ... AFL game wins most of the time. That is a fact. It is also a fact that the nrl may win when they have a game up against an AFL gams where the AFL have two games going over the same time.

Fridge magnets: Bunnings $2.99 on special.

How will your mob cope with only 60% of your matches being shown on TV?

Twice the advertising opportunities Fred. Though it would seem that is no longer enough for fox.

Damn .... didn’t have that in my “excuse bingo”.

So at least we agree that AFL is a more valuable product.

Well Freddo, I suspect we'll all be heading off to the 'ol goldfish bowl with ya again pal!!!! Every issue has been bought up & dealt with in the past. Including advertising opportunities in your mess as opposed to RL. You call them 'excuses'. I call them legitimate facts. And in we go.........stroke.......stroke.........stroke!!!!!!!

one day you people will learn that Fox isnt based on ratings or advertising. Its sub based.
Ratings give the best indication of how many' s watching. You know, the people who buy subscriptions. NRL avg many more than AFL.

And yes advertising does help because they advertise during the breaks.

Lol
Ratings seem to only count when AFL wins .
Eyes on screens is the best indication..

As for fox when I first got it in 97 there were no ads except for other cable stations .
They now have moved very much into adverstising .

No your competition is focussed on 3 games that arent even part of your actual competition.
Are you implying this is somehow a negative?? In any case the NRL comp is not focussed on 3 games except when the 3 games are played. 90% of the season it is focussed on club V club. And the fact RL has 3 tiers of the game is a massive advantage. I know you do not understand this as your fave game doesn't have extra dimensions. In your view the AFL set up is better........because it's......ummm........AFL!!!!
