No, you've lost - and big time. And you're so stupid you can't see it.

There is more AFL played all over the world than thugby. It doesn't matter about the level and so forth. It's played and that's it.

Oh the level matters my friend. It gives the whole story away.

Marngrook = backyard xpat footy o/s
RL = the big time, professional level supported by strong grass roots juniors. Across the world.

The level doesn't matter. It's played. And enjoyed by locals and played by locals.

Thugby is not big time. It's played in fewer countries at grass roots and has no plans for expansion, whereas the AFL do have those plans.

So shut up. You have no idea.

Xpats TLPG, its played by Xpats. Less than a handful of locals join in every now and then for the novelty of it.

I've seen it. :D

Now stop letting anger and hatred dominate your mind. You'll make clearer sense when you do this. [-X

What a deluded little terd this TPG guy is....
Not one credible shred of evidence, and if he read through the thread he would realize how sad his argument is.
TPG get your blinkers of mate RL smashes Aussie rules abroad. Not one country plays Aussie rules at any level that can sustain there means of living deal with it    .

So what? That's the great thing about footy! It doesn't have to be a way to sustain a living! It exists on community support at the grass roots level. That's how it works here in Australia, and that's how it works O/S as well.

And that's why it's a bigger sport than thugby. You can chuck your semi pro stuff around all you want. It's a failing of thugby, because you HAVE to pay top dollar to get people to play it! You don't have to do that with footy! The only country that seems to be an exception to that rule is PNG - but it's the only one!

If I had time I'd go over the International Cup for a start and show you how that's more plentiful than thugby league at the same level! But I have more important things to do. Note though - not one ex-pat plays International Cup. Not one. Because it's in the rules of the IC. It is in effect a Country Of Origin rule. If you were born in Australia, you can't play in the International Cup. I saw NO ex-pats in 2008 playing for Canada, Nauru, Ireland or South Africa.

The international cup is full of aussie expats who've been living in their country of residence for more than 2 years. Thats the rules right TLPG?

TLPG, there's a clause in the rules which allows it. I think that clause was posted in this thread. It's official rules mate. Get off your rocking horse and come join us adults who speak the truth not tantrums. :)

You are lying. No ex-pats are allowed to play International Cup. Grow up.

8.2 Eligibility
(a) A Player is eligible for selection by a League if:
(i) the Player was predominantly resident in the country of the League between 10 and 16 years of age, subject to the qualification in sub-clause 8.2(b); This does not apply for the women’s division for the 2011 International Cup (sub clauses 8.2 (a) & (b) do still apply)
(ii) the Player is a citizen of the country of the League at the time when the Competition is conducted, subject to the qualification in sub-clause 8.2(b); and
(iii) the Player is not under suspension in that Player’s local competition during the period of the Competition.
(iv) The player is included in the squad provided under Regulation 8.1.
(b) The AFL may, on a case by case basis, waive the eligibility requirements contained in sub-clause 8.2(a) and (b) if it is satisfied that a Player is a bona fide resident in the country of the League and his participation would be in the best interests of the Competition. Submissions in this regard must be made by lodging the Player Eligibility form attached as Appendix II before the commencement of the Competition.

8.2(b) has NEVER been applied. NEVER.

Now shut up.
